Blackbird - a song written by Nina Simone in the 1960’s performed on Vashon Island during Azere’s summer 2024 album release tour. Azere credits “ancestors moving through” her when she sings sometimes. This is one of those moments which happen to be caught by the sound engineer of the venue.
